Formed in 1913 Ashton U Lyne Golf Club is a wooded course nestling in the foot hills of the Pennines on the edge of the Greater Manchester conurbation. Over the years the great improvements have been made to the course; we have increased its length, added bunkers, improved tees and greens and planted many, many new trees, which are an attractive feature and of course a challenge!

Ashton U Lyne Golf Club, recently hosted a Lancashire championship, presents an excellent test of golf for golfers of all abilities. It is 6,209 yards long with an SSS of 70. Ashton is a private members club. There is a waiting list in some categories, but the members list is open to people wishing to join both as players or social members.

The club house hosts a professional shop which sells a vast range of equipment at competitive prices including all major brands. There is also full changing facilities fitted with showers. Upstairs for refreshments and meals there is a licensed bar and restaurant area which is also available for hire to members and social members for their own private events, for further details contact the secretary.
