At Ashton-under-Lyne Golf Club you’ll enjoy unlimited access to the course, clubhouse and practice facilities, all in a beautiful and peaceful countryside setting. The course is fair yet challenging, with four sets of tees so both experienced golfers and those wanting to relax can enjoy their game. From seven day memberships to mid-week only options, junior and ladies’ academies, country members, and social memberships there is an option for everyone.

Annual subscription rates start from £1,087 for seven-day membership, with reduced rates for mid-week or junior categories. A joining fee will apply for certain categories – contact the office for more information.
In addition to the annual fees noted below a joining fee of £545 is payable. The fee is NOT applicable to female applicants as we are currently under-represented in this section. It is not applicable to the five-day mid-week category as the course is currently under-utilised mid week. Please see below for details:
– Applicable to new male members ONLY, aged 26 years or over on the date membership commences.
– Fee of £545 payable up front or by direct debit over a maximum of 24 months (or any combination thereof by agreement with the Club Manager).
– Payable upon joining country, 6 or 7 day categories only.
Social Membership provides members with access to all Club Functions, a Member’s Card to provide discounts at the bar and three rounds of non-competitive golf per annum. Golf in excess of three rounds must be paid for at the standard visitor’s rate for the date. Social Members may not bring guests at the Member’s Guest rate.
Any prospective member whose financial circumstances do not allow him or her to pay an annual membership subscription and associated costs of more than £520.00 is invited to apply to the General Manager in writing or by e-mail to [email protected] and demonstrate that any sum above this figure is not affordable. An application will then be considered by the Management Committee and if accepted, an alternative fee structure will be offered to the applicant.
